       I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing mental health treatment services for over 25 years in a variety of settings, treating different age groups with diverse needs.  I have experience with a multitude of counseling techniques.  In my practice, I individualize treatment approaches according to the needs of the client.

      My approach is strength-based and solution-focused.   Generally, I provide treatment using the Cognitive-Behavioral framework, pulling from the foundations of psycho-dynamic theory and family systems.                                                                                                                   
      In the treatment of adolescents and children, a combination of techniques from talk-therapy, play-therapy, and behavioral interventions are utilized based on the child's age, and with the parents' input.  We will work together to develop a treatment plan that reflects needs and goals.
